A vitally important cog in our approach to ESG is the wellbeing of and support we provide to our team at Gneiss Energy.

We consider this under four key headings:

– Environment
– Health & wellbeing
– Learning & development
– Benefits & reward

Let’s consider each of these in turn …

Our clients expect a lot from us and therefore it is paramount that we provide a working environment that helps get the best from each of us. Each of our offices has recently been refurbished to a high standard, offering comfortable surroundings for work, breakout and play. Importantly, we ensure that our energy sources are sustainable and we recycle where we can.

Of course, the health and wellbeing of everyone at Gneiss is a focus. Each member of the team, and their immediate family, has access to private medical insurance and our hybrid working model ensures that each of us can achieve a work / life balance that makes sense for the individual and our business.

As the team grows and the depth of advice we can provide expands, it is vital that we have access to the best opportunities to learn, whether that is keeping up with our CPD requirements through accredited learning or participating in role enhancing training which benefits both individual and the business. These are important considerations, especially as we seek our full FCA accreditation.

All of this is underpinned by a competitive benefits and reward structure, which we think makes Gneiss Energy an attractive employer that celebrates success and rewards initiative. This is further enhanced by some of our benefits, e.g. the cycle to work scheme, our electric vehicle scheme, free access to company owned holiday homes and membership at Gleneagles.

All of these elements help us to build that rewarding culture which has driven our success over the last 6 years. Looking after our team enables us to look after our clients and the environment in which we work.
