Andrew Ellis

Andrew is an experienced corporate finance professional, primarily focused on the cleantech and renewables sectors. His expertise ranges from financing established renewable energy infrastructure to fundraising for emerging cleantech technologies, along with significant experience in M&A within energy services corporates.

Andrew graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dundee. Prior to joining Gneiss, he spent seven years in KPMG’s Transaction Services team, where he earned his CA qualification and independently achieved a CFA Level 1 pass. During this time, he specialised in advising private equity clients, providing financial due diligence across the industrials, manufacturing, and energy services sectors.
