Philip is a strategic and commercially focused leader with over 13 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the UK, Europe and the US. He is uniquely positioned having experience acting as a financial advisor, developer and IPP across multiple technologies.
His career spans senior roles in project finance, commercial strategy, asset acquisition and portfolio optimisation, where he has originated, structured and closed more than £1 billion in infrastructure and energy equity investments for over 2GW of renewable assets, including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and battery storage.
A chartered accountant, with a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh, Philip’s experience includes leading roles in the commercial planning and development of major infrastructure assets, where he offers an in-depth understanding of optimising revenue stacks and routes to market for both generating and storage technologies.
At Gneiss Energy, he advises cleantech and renewables companies and investors on project acquisition and disposal, capital raising, M&A and corporate strategy.
