David Cooper

Chief Executive Officer, Head of Compliance & MRLO

David is an experienced Compliance Officer and MLRO with over 35 years of regulatory experience. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He has now stepped into the CEO position within the company.

David has a degree in Economics from Sheffield University. He worked in a broad range of investment banks, brokers and corporate finance firms and had his own Compliance Consultancy before joining Gneiss Energy in March 2021.

David has implemented and maintains the control infrastructure designed to ensure that Gneiss Energy adheres to the highest standards of compliance as an entity regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
