John Alpine

Head of Legal & Operations

John is an experienced banking lawyer with a background in business and corporate banking and extensive inhouse experience. He currently manages legal and operational matters at Gneiss Energy who provide a broad range of corporate finance advisory services to both public and private companies in the energy sector.

John holds a BA (hons) and an LLB from the University of Strathclyde. He worked initially in retail management at Oddbins, before becoming a lawyer with Dundas & Wilson (now part of CMS), from where he moved inhouse, and headed the Corporate & Business Banking Legal Team at Clydesdale & Yorkshire Banks, before moving over to Gneiss Energy in 2017.
